Bodymindfulness practices work towards a synthesis of the subtle energy of body and mind. The energetic basis of consciousness rests on a holistic, dynamic system; it is a network in which subtle energy links the chakras, the meridians and the polarity points.
We apply refined exercises within
the ether body to solicit a resonance in this network. In the effect of
this resonance we can start perceiving changes in the movement towards
natural and self-regulated balance. Since the ether body acts as an interface
between the physical, emotional and mental domains a psychological opening
can be experienced. This can be registered in our senses, feelings, and
thoughts through rhythm. By applying awareness and mindfulness to this
natural and self-organizing process we can find acceptance and understanding
of ongoing change. By means of dream work, inner psychodynamic
reflection and journaling we can facilitate this process
creating more insight into the nature of our mind.
The practice of meditation involves
stabilizing the body, balancing the energy and resting our mind; using
breath as a means for concentration, contemplation and meditation. Through
the combined use of these practices bodymindfulness
opens into a space of consciousness and in riding its waves, on the edge
of knowing we can engage in our personal,social, and spiritual path.
In addition to the group settings of retreats and workshops
we offer private sessions. Here the same principles
and practices are offered with more time and focus so we can further explore
personal issues. Sessions take place in our studio in Grassina in the
Tuscan hills around Florence, and in Zürich, for long distance clients
we work by phone. We offer counseling, psychotherapy, energy healing,
aura reading and rolfing®.
